There are those who are brave, desperate, or stubborn enough to live in the Wound- the desert wastelands of Lim devastated by the original Edgefall. The Junker Communes are all three, in spades. Originally, ‘Junker’ was a derogatory term used by merchants of the Shogunates to describe the scavengers who made their living by scrapping, studying, and replicating Edgetech. In time, it became a badge of honor worn with pride.
